Our Team has experience working with the best

OUR STORY

The founders, also known as “The Franciscos”, met over a decade ago in Lisbon, and bonded not only over a common first name but also over a common ambition and a desire to create lasting impact through entrepreneurship. They became best friends before business partners, and multiple times talked about starting a company in the US before ending up in California for their education - Lopes for his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Schmidberger graduating from USC Marshall School of Business.

Three years ago (2019), they finally embarked on a journey to build a company - it started as a peer-to-peer platform for content creators to connect with each other through “collabs” (LinkedIn for creators), based out of Los Angeles. They bought 3x Grammy awarded Bill Withers’ house with his former studio in the Hollywood Hills, surrounded themselves by music artists, and hosted content creators for collabs in an eclectic creative environment.

Upon spending hundreds of hours watching how creators produce content, they found that, more than any other platform, TikTok was the most raw and authentic one in which users consume and engage with entertaining content. That insight marked the beginning of LINK’s focus - building viral brand presences on TikTok.

As the number of upper funnel case studies and success stories grew, so did the platform’s media capabilities for lower funnel campaigns. To keep up with the growth, attracting the best talent and nurturing a fast paced and effective company culture have been a cornerstone mission for LINK. Joaquim and Dustin joined the team as partners, representing the continued pursuit of the rare combination - targeting & paid media with slam-bang creativity & content production.
